Fun Day!!

 Whetu Fun Day


Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch, and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.


My favorite part of the Amazing Race was running around Ngatea with my friends it was so fun and 

The hard part was cracking the code at the end. My group (the bunnies) got a little mucked up because we did not have a parent but we had some help from the teachers and we got back on track and we did not give up! I had a great time. It was really fun hanging out and shoving stuff with my friends because some of them I do not play with much and I got to know them more. It was kinda hard because we did not have a parent but we got tongue anyway. I am so glad. The code at the end that we had to crack was hard because we were all hungry and tired but it was (What happened when the egg lounged) (he cracked up!!!!!) In my group, I had Tayla, Haven, Lola, Marley, Scarlett, and Me.


The rotation I enjoyed the most was doing the bunnies because that was the only one I did and because my mum came and did it and she made one and Marley, Haven, and I kinda copped off it but it was really funny because my mum kept on embarrassing me but it was fun! I was so glad that my mum came!! The only reason that was the only one we did was that we took so long because we were having too much fun! My mum was blessed with my mum w=it was so much fun!


During the Easter Egg Hunt, I found my stick in the middle of two blue pieces of wood and it was nearly falling out before I found it all my friends found a stick and I wanted to hurry up but then my mum was pointing to where she hides on but I did not find it another parent helps me and I found it! In the end when I found my stick you would get an ice block and a choc egg before when the parents were hiding the sticks Miss loft read us a story called Santa Vs The Easter bunny!

My Whetu Term 2 2020

I have done a reflection I think it was really good. It was nice doing it telling what was challenging this term and what was really fun bout this year it is really cool it was nice telling it out a load on the pice of paper.     The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is T T rockstars because I have really improved with my time tables. I like the options as well because we get to choose what we want if we are not in art But I love art so it’s great either way. Something that has challenged me this term has been The math mysteries. They are fun but sometimes it is really hard for me to understand the clues It is fun but hard. First post this year!

  Week 3, Term 1, 2021 Someone who has helped me with my learning this year is Haven because last week we did a Whetu challenge and we had to be in groups and I was with Haven and when I was writing  Haven was telling me what to write and help so much with everything else. One time I was doing Nmbots and Tayla helped me because I was stuck on this challenge. I did not know what to do and she helped me.  The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time is on Friday because we did three challenges and dressed up in our house colors. One of the challenges was that we did an obstacle course and it was so fun doing it and screaming for my team!
